Wonder Bear and Butterfly

A bear with a surprised expression is captured looking upwards towards a blue butterfly. The background is a vibrant, abstract, mix of yellow and orange hues, suggesting a whimsical or dreamlike setting. This one of the three mixed media bear paintings that I challenged myself with. 24x36, the size gives the bear a live appearance, in this silly way. He is soft and innocent. With the triptych companions, these bears and butterflies, series, make a multi panel, expression for the lighthearted, spirit. These are great for a kids space, a babies room.  Although everyone seems to respond to the sweet nature, of these paintings.
